Anything that can go wrong will go wrong. | Murphy's law 1

It's a sentiment I live by: 'Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.' And honestly, that's a pretty good starting point for understanding my journey into cybersecurity. My path wasn't the typical straight line. It began with a genuine curiosity and a love of exploring how things work, diving into various academic interests—from computer science fundamentals to the fascinating world of robotics. That thirst for knowledge unexpectedly veered me into a world of challenges, puzzles, and the constant need to adapt. It's a reality that's only intensified as I’ve explored Capture The Flag (CTF) competitions and started this blog.

Cybersecurity didn't choose me; I stumbled into it while looking for a way to apply problem-solving skills to a world increasingly reliant on technology. It's been an ongoing process of learning, experimenting, and, yes, dealing with the inevitable setbacks. Because let's be honest, in this field, if something can break, it will break. The key isn’t avoiding those failures, but developing the resilience to recover, learn, and move forward—a lesson I'm constantly reinforcing.

This blog is my way of documenting that journey—the successes, the failures, and everything in between. Expect detailed CTF writeups, practical hacking tips, explorations of new security tools, and personal reflections on the constant learning curve. It's a space for sharing knowledge and building a community around a shared passion for problem-solving and a healthy dose of realism. My home lab is my sandbox, where I push boundaries, experiment with new technologies, and frequently encounter Murphy’s Law in action – a constant reminder to anticipate the unexpected.

Currently pursuing: OSCP+ certification (expected Dec 2025) and expanding my skills in Red Teaming and SOC Level 2 practices.
